M-1Global.com recently had the opportunity to speak with heavyweight semi-finalist Mehdi Hassan as he prepares for his semi-final match up with Pat Bennett on August 7, at Bally’s in Atlantic City, New Jersey as M-1 Global Presents the 2010 M-1 Selection Americas tournament semi final round.
Hassan fought a perfect battle against Robert Leonard in the Americas second round event on June 26th and earned himself a first round KO victory that had the crowd on its feet. “I was totally aware of my position in the ring against him. I was able to push the action yet be patient at the same time – then BAM, I rocked him with a right and dumped him face-first on the canvass.”
The M-1 Selection2010 – Americas tournament third round takes place live on August 7 at Bally’s Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Tickets are available through www.TicketMaster.com. Doors open at 7:00 pm, first fight at 7:30 PM/ET.
