M-1Global.com recently had the opportunity to speak with Light Heavyweight semi-finalist Byron Byrd as he prepares for his semi-final match up with Mike Foster on August 7, at Bally’s in Atlantic City, New Jersey as M-1 Global Presents the 2010 M-1 Selection Americas tournament semi final round.

In the interview Byrd discusses his opening round victory, the preparation for his upcoming fight, the difficulties of tournament fighting, and what the opportunity means to him.

As many may remember the American Top Team standout secured his semi-final birth with a stunning :10 second knockout of his opening round opponent Mike “Shake and Bake” Shekenberg.
