Amoussou, a 16 year Judo veteran enters DREAM.15 on the heels of a Technical Draw with Trevor Prangley at STRIKEFORCE:Challengers 6 in February. With an 11-2 record, the young fighter has earned the praise of fans for an exciting fighting style which the fighter describes as “controlled aggression”. While much attention has been given to the fighter for his highlight reel knockouts, Amoussou is very skilled on the ground where he has finished 7 of his 11 career wins.
Kazuhiro Nakamura enters the bout off the heels of a victory over Hidehiko Yoshida at ASTRA in April of this year. Nakamura’s primary style is judo, a style which has scored him notable wins over Igor Vovchanchyn, Yuki Kondo, Kevin Randleman, and Murilo Bustamante. With a record of 14-10 Nakamura has faced a who’s who of MMA notables. With strength and experience, Nakamura could prove to be Amoussou’s toughest test to date.
