Amsterdam, The Netherlands. M-1 Global welterweight Magomed Shikshabekov was scheduled to make his STRIKEFORCE debut as part of the preliminary card for M-1Global and STRIKEFORCE present Fedor vs. Werdum which takes place on June 26 from the HP Pavillion in San Jose, California.
After an exhausted process, the debut of the 2009 M-1 Challenge champion will be delayed. M-1 Officials have worked in conjunction with United States officials in order to secure the proper visa for Shikshabekov.
Due to circumstances beyond the control of the fighter or M-1 Global, that visa will not be obtained in time for Shikshabekov to participate on the June 26th card.
M-1 will diligently work to obtain the appropriate P-1 visa for The Eagle and hopes to see him fighting in the United States before the end of 2010.
