In Russia he is known as “The White Wolf”, Magomed Sultanahmedov is one of the most experienced fighters in the whole tournament and deservedly –  the primary favorite in his weight category.  A world champion in karate and kick-boxing, as well as a  veteran tournament participant for M-1, Dream and K-1 Hero ‘s. Many have compaired his style to Mirko Cro Cop circa Pride – a great left-handed fighter with good defense and deadly kicks. At the end of last year’s championship M-1 Selection Russia , he won by TKO Dmitry Samoilov and together with his club won the title of champions of Russia. In the quarterfinals of this tournament Magomed completely cemented  himself as a star of M-1 fighter by defeating the very talented Pavel Kusch by knockout early in the third round.  He looks to continue his winning ways and claim the tournament victory on his way to the finals.
Dibirov Zagirov came to Moscow from Dagestan, where the fighter won, Russian and international tournaments in wrestling among men. Thanks to his brother Shamil Nurmagomedovu he relocated to  Moscow, where he trained under the guidance of Alexey Oleynik . He began to train in mixed martial arts and became one of the discoveries of last year, just in MMA, he scored seven wins and just one defeat, which he suffered fighting outside of his weightclass at light heavyweight. In the  tournament quarterfinal on February 26 Dibirov fought tooth and nail and secured a victory by unanimous decision of the judges overcoming his  teammate Anatoly Lavrov .
