The M-1 Selection was a fight series created by M-1 Global officials this year as a qualifying system for the 2010 M-1 Challenge. All season long the M-1 Selection has been taking place in Russia but has now expanded to the Ukraine. The next edition of M-1 Selection: Ukraine is set for September, 20.

In what is considered to be the biggest event in the Ukraine’s MMA history, the next M-1 Selection: Ukraine will take place at the International Exhibition Centre “AKKO International, ” which is in the capital city of Kyiv.
Only six of the strongest MMA teams reached the M-1 Selection: Ukraine Finals. These teams are comprised of world class athletes, many of whom are world champions in different disciplines. These teams will compete for the championship and the title of the strongest MMA team in the Ukraine to finish out 2009 season.
The winning team will represent the Ukraine in the next season of M-1 Challenge, going head to head with teams from the USA, Korea, Japan, Brazil, the Netherlands, Finland, Russia, and more.
