This Friday, Karl Amoussou will return to the M-1 ring at “HDNET FIGHTS PRESENTS M-1 BREAKTHROUGH” (live on HDNet at 10 p.m. ET with the undercard streamed on Sherdog beginning at 8:15 p.m. ET) for the first time since April 29, 2009.

Competing in a “Superfight” during an M-1 Challenge event in Japan vs. Kazuhiro Hamanaka, Amoussou needed just 23 seconds to knockout the IFL veteran. At “Breakthrough,” Amoussou will face a step up in competition in the form of the resurgent John “The Iron Bull” Doyle.
