A “Weekend of Fighting” Set to Take Place Next Week in Amsterdam

amsterdam2The seventh edition of the 2009 “M-1 Challenge Presented by Affliction” is scheduled for the weekend of August 15th and and 16th.

The two-day “Mega Taping” to be held on Saturday and Sunday near Amsterdam, Holland will serve as the regular season finale of this year’s Challenge and will consist of ten teams competing in one weekend.

A one-day ticket to the event, to be held at Studio 22 at Media Park in Hilversum, is priced at 25 Euro while a two-day pass is just 40 Euro.

Airfare from America to Amsterdam during the week of Aug. 15-16 can be purchased through major online travel agencies for as low as $844 roundtrip.

Teams scheduled to compete during the two-day “mega taping” include USA East, Benelux, England, Japan, Spain, France, Turkey, Germany, Russia Legion, and the World Team.

The start time for Saturday’s event is 7 p.m. with Sunday’s event set to commence at 5 p.m.
