What a week it’s been for Shamar Bailey.
After USA East welterweight Charlie Brenneman was forced to pull out of his Aug. 16 M-1 Challenge matchup vs. Team Benelux’s Raymond Jarman due to injury, Bailey received the call from M-1 officials that he had been selected to go to Amsterdam and join John Doyle and Charles Grigsby as members of USA East.
It was the call that the well-renowned Midwest fight prospect had been seeking for quite some time.
And just days after Shamar signed with M-1, he finds himself the feature subject of award-winning journalist Kyle Nagle’s “Fight Path” series on MMAjunkie.com.
A firefighter by day, Bailey’s quest to become a national MMA superstar is chronicled in detail in the latest edition of “Fight Path.”
