M-1Global.com was able to catch up with M-1 fighter Gegard Mousasi in the wake of Affliction’s decision to cancel “Trilogy.” Mousasi, clearly disappointed, was only willing to give a brief statement on the matter.

“The only thing important for me is what will be done for the fighters who all trained really hard for these fights,” he told us. “It’s very difficult for me and the other fighters who have put a lot of time and energy in their training and now are treated like this because a fighter is caught on steroids? It’s all politics and I can do nothing but wait (and see) what will come of out this.”

M-1Global.com is hoping to conduct a full-length interview with Mousasi and is in the process of contacting additional M-1 fighters who were scheduled to compete at “Trilogy” in order to get their reactions.

И все из-за того, что один боец попался на стероидах? Это все политика, я не могу ничего с этим поделать. Посмотрим, что из этого выйдет.»
