In recent months M-1 Global opened a brand new branch office in the Ukraine. During the launch of the new office, it was announced that an M-1 Selection fight series would be launched as a complement to the current M-1 Selection taking place in Russia.
The M-1 Selection is a new fight series created by M-1 Global as a way to create a qualifying tournament to establish which team within a country will get the opportunity to represent its homeland in the following year’s M-1 Challenge.
With Ukraine possibly entering next year’s M-1 Challenge, the country’s recently launched version of the M-1 Selection could very well determine which fight gym will represent the country in the 2010 M-1 Challenge. Below are results from the recent event:
