M-1 Global President Vadim Finkelchtein and Affliction Vice President Tom Atencio will be joined by Donald Trump and Mark Cuban on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. ET at the Trump Tower in New York for a special press conference.
It is expected to Finkelchtein and Atencio will formally announce that Affliction M-1: Trilogy will be held on Saturday, August 1 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.
WAMMA heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko and former UFC heavyweight champion Josh Barnett will both be in attendance at the press conference. Both Emelianenko and Barnett are expected to serve as the main event for the show, which will air on pay-per-view.
Cuban will be in attendance to represent HDNet, which will televise the Affliction undercard for the second straight event.
Atencio, Finkelchtein, Barnett, and Emelianenko are also all scheduled to hold a second press conference this Thursday in Los Angeles.
